“Access to the patient was limited based upon the building being under construction,” said Battalion Chief Stephan Gollan. For this rescue, there were no elevators and not even the stairs we complete.

They say this is the second time in two days the city’s Technical Rescue Team has been deployed, having rescued a 35-year-old the day before at a construction site downtown. Gollan attributes the increase in rescues to all of the new construction going on downtown.
